Idea Chíc is independently owned and created by David and Julie Sandusky. We design and make greeting cards, handcrafted sachets, and personalized social stationery — right here in Glendale (Denver), CO, since 2009!
Custom Invitations was Julie's start - Design and Printing always in-house - Digital Printing from the start; "Miss Hazel", our 1930 letterpress was acquired in 2010.
With aspirations to expand into a product brand, Julie started to create a line of stationery notes which led to greeting cards and sachets. Success on Etsy was the catalyst for David to join Idea Chic full-time. Our creative business and desire to explore ideas is how products like our sachets came to be.

Our Team
Product assembly and production is critical to your experience with social stationery and handcrafted gifts. It is also a lot of work. Our team is or has consisted of family members to undergrad and grad students to retired professionals looking for a creative outlet. With diversity in backgrounds, attention to crafty details are shared traits. Our reviews are a testimony of their handy-work!
Our Story
David and Julie have been happily married since September 22, 2001. Before Idea Chíc, Julie owned her own custom wedding invitation business — in 2009, Julie realized her creativity and passion for hand-making quality products was blooming beyond invitations. Idea Chíc was born!
David helped fill orders at night and weekends until joining on full time. It has been a dream come true for David and Julie to work together in a creative business where they get to design and make everything.

At Idea Chíc, you can see the full production in action, including our 1930's letterpress, Hazel. You are welcome to visit and stay awhile in our little stationery boutique, grab the card you need or set an appointment for a custom stationery consultation.
All printing, bindery, and related equipment (including our 1930’s letterpress, Hazel!) are kept in-house in the Idea Chíc design studio, and workshop to ensure high quality, excellent service, and fast delivery.
For your convenience, you can shop in person or online via this website for worldwide shipping. In the Denver area? Visit our stationery boutique. We are open Wednesday-Friday from 11 am to 4 pm and Saturday from 11 am to 2 pm. Appointments for personalized social stationery and invitations are required.
