When Abby and I first met about her wedding invitations her vision was of true beauty for her upcoming wedding. The wedding inspiration was centered around her flowers and the venue The Legare Waring House in Charleston, South Carolina. The venue is a historic 1840s home, which resides amid the manicured gardens of Charles Towne Landing, the site of South Carolina's first permanent settlement.
The invitation design focused on watercolor flowers and a color palette of soft white, pinks, greens and gold. The end result was a classic beautiful floral invitation suite.
For the invitation suite we created a custom pocket folder in a classic natural white stock. Each pocket folder front was accented with a pale sage green satin ribbon and circular watercolor floral monogram tag. The classic invitation card was found on the inside of the folder with a pocket to hold the extra cards. Abby and Evan were married in April.
